Two new franchises, player retention, a mega auction, salary purse hike and a fresh media rights tender are among the plans waiting to be unrolled from this August to January 2022 as BCCI finalises the blueprint for IPL. RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, Adanis, Aurobindo Pharma and Torrent Group are reportedly showing interest for the new franchises.
