Maharashtra assembly elections: Rebels spark trouble in saffron camp

The BJP's decision to field Chandrakant Patil from Kothrud in Pune has not gone down well with Medha Kulkarni, the sitting MLA, and her followers. Kulkarni has conveyed her ire to party bosses, coupled with a veiled threat that NCP leaders were willing to offer her the party candidature from her stronghold, it is learnt.
